Greenberg & Co Cakes is a Sydney based boutique cake studio specialising in vegan or gluten-free optional cakes and desserts.
Alternative ingredients are substituted for refined sugars, eggs and dairy. We have perfected a unique blend of non-gluten flours to make the perfect cake flour.
Our works are vibrantly coloured to create soft watercolour paintings and bold geometric patterns. Every delicious recipe and elegant design is thoughtfully crafted to excite the palate and the eye of each client.
Rebecca Greenberg, founder of Greenberg & Co Cakes, discovered their love for the delicacy of baking while pursuing a traditional fine art degree and struggling with food intolerances. After graduating from Bard College, Rebecca moved to New York City, where the idea of Greenberg & Co Cakes was sparked. They had a desire to cater to gluten-free, vegan, and dairy-free clients who are in need of high-end custom cakes. Everyone deserves a sweet treat!
In 2011, Greenberg & Co Cakes moved across the seas to Sydney, Australia and now operates there on a full time basis. With over a decade of experience in both the arts & food industries, Rebecca offers a wide selection of unique services including extravagant cakes, deliciously edible art and a compassionate alternative to traditional decorated cakes.
Once they get a sense of what inspires the design aesthetic of your special occasion, Rebecca will create a sketch personally tailored to you and your event—no one cake is the same as another. Greenberg & Co Cakes loves to work off of your styling and to incorporate their own artistic practice in order to offer you a one-of-a-kind, memorable experience.
Rebecca also teaches private and public baking classes from their studio in Sydney.
Earth-Friendly Practices
We endeavour to provide you products that have less of an impact on the environment. We aim to use organic products where available in our baking, cleaning and packaging. We compost unusable flowers and leftover cake offcuts. We buy in bulk to reduce landfill and recycling needs.
Local Products
We support local businesses in sourcing the finest ingredients and flowers for our products. This includes trying to shop as locally as possible and with less waste. We grow all of our own edible florals are always looking to collaborate with other local businesses as well !
