Christopher & Rajini 26/6/21

Christopher & Rajini were my first wedding clients after the Sydney lockdowns when no functions were allowed to go ahead. They chose an intimate celebration with friends & family at the Opera House. We were not able to meet in person, but their warmth and beautiful energy carried through all of our correspondence and through to these images.

We designed a two tier semi naked cake with a sharp white finish. An offset posy of beautiful soft blue & blush pink florals were the only embellishment. Elegant and understated for a stunning location.

The only other decorations in the room were stunning florals featuring pops of bright red with native foliage and blush roses. Outside, the beautiful Sydney Harbour cast soft magical light.

Alice & Linh 7/3/20

Alice & Linh were one of my last weddings before Covid stopped all weddings and events for months. They had a huge extravagant celebration featuring lush florals, fairy tale decor and even fireworks! Thought it might be nice to have a look back!

The cake was a large three tier featuring gold leaf, a custom hand painted monogram and lacework. We had a garden of cupcakes with edible fresh roses as well.

Sunay & Kuppal 28/11/20

Sunay & Kuppal celebrated on the hottest day of the season! It was a stressful delivery due to the extreme heat, but the cake held up and made it through the lovely ceremony and reception at The Mint in Sydney’s CBD.

The cake was custom made to be soy free due to an intolerance. They chose a vegan chocolate cake with chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream. The outside was finished in clean white Swiss meringue buttercream, a painted gold drizzle and decorated with lush fresh red florals.
